Skills Day – an Educational Event

The Utah Translators and Interpreters Association invites all linguist to participate of a one-day learning event (think of it as a mini-conference) packed with learning sessions and skill-building workshops presented by experienced interpreters, translators and educators.  This in-person event will also provide great networking opportunities for linguists of all languages, fields and experience levels. CEUs will be available for those with RID, UIP, AOC, ATA, CCHI and/or NBCMI certifications. When: Saturday, June 24, 2023 Time: 09:00 am – 05:00 pm MST Where: Intermountain Medical Center – Doty Family Education Center, 5131 Cottonwood St Building 6, Murray, UT 84107 Registration:  The registration fee covers attendance to any and all items in the agenda and a light lunch (cost is the same whether the participant attends one or all events). Registration fee is non-refundable.

  • UTIA Members: $30.00 (members, please login to your UTIA profile to verify membership status)
  • Non-Members: $75.00 (save $5 by joining UTIA and registering as a member!)

We have received accreditation for continuing education units from RID (10), UIP (10), AOC (9), CEAP/CCHI (10) and IMIA/NBCMI (9).

Not all presentations will qualify for all CEU types.  A list of approved and pending CEUs is found in the agenda You have 3 days after the registration payment is submitted to cancel and qualify for a full refund. Cancellations made after the 3-day grace period, up until the day before the event, will result in a $25 cancellation fee.  No refunds will be issued, in full or partial, if requested on or after the date of the event. Registration cost is the same whether you attend a single presentation or the full-day.  All attendees are expected to show respect to all presenters, participants and event organizers, and are encouraged to share business cards and network with each other.

    I attended Mr. Morales workshop at 3rd District Court 2013 AMAZING. I wish I could be there to attend out of town
